A MINUTE TO V.A.P.E? “Oh My God, How Depressing.” People Allege That A Mother Of Two Causes Fear By Posting A Picture Of Her Kid “V.a.p.i.n.g”

The mum was later forced to clarify what the ‘v.a.p.e’ really was

A MOTHER-OF-TWO has sparked horror after sharing a photo of her toddler ”v.a.p.i.n.g”.

After sharing a number of pictures of her cute toddlers, including one of a young girl holding what appeared to be a vaporizer at first sight, Alysha Elsom startled social media users.

One of Alysha’s daughters is seen in the picture, which has now gone viral on the internet for all the wrong reasons. She is wearing a nice pink outfit and has a cute bow on her head.

But it was the blue plastic object the tot was carrying that truly grabbed the attention of over half a million other TikTokers.

Thousands of stunned onlookers immediately – and incorrectly – thought the youngster was v.a.p.i.n.g because of the object’s form and vivid color.

Children and young people should not v.a.p.e, according to NHS experts. They are particularly susceptible to its effects because of their developing brains and lungs.

V.a.p.i.n.g nicotine is not risk-free, even if it is less dangerous than s.m.o.k.i.n.g.

That’s why there’s a minimum age of sale for v.a.p.i.n.g products in the UK.

It is illegal to sell nicotine v.a.p.i.n.g products to anyone under 18 or for adults to buy them on behalf of under-18s.

Furthermore, according to Science Direct, exposing kids and teenagers to nicotine in v.a.p.i.n.g solutions can result in addiction and long-term harm to brain development.

Additionally, they noted that a lot of teens who v.a.p.e suffer from anxiety, mood issues, sleep disturbances, and poor focus.

A paper from NEJM in 2022 reported a case series where chronic v.a.p.i.n.g resulted in small airway fibrosis of the airways – a condition where the lungs become scarred, making it difficult to breathe.

‘Did I see that correctly?’

The video, which was only uploaded two days ago, has already received a staggering 560k views, 20k likes, and nearly 800 shares on the network.

Over 500 people flooded to comments in sheer horror, with many totally aghast at what they had just seen.

”Did i see that correctly..?!” one was baffled.

”no way u guys genuinely thought her baby was holding a v.a.p.e,” a second wrote.

”got scared for sec,” someone else chimed in, as another dubbed it ”so sad”.

”Why is the v.a.p.e in the baby mouth,” a fourth commented.

”fully thought it was a lost mary,” a TikToker said.

After the short clip left thousands gobsmacked, mum Alysha explained what really was going on in the photo – revealing that it was actually ”a toy thermometer”.

“It’s a peppa pig thermometer, my small girl has the same thing,” wrote another mother in response to the trolls, supporting this as well.
