It’s a case of quadruple the joy for Florida mum, Alexzandria Wolliston. Doctors informed Wolliston that winning the lottery was a better bet than having two sets of twins in the same year. But the mother of five claimed she hit the lottery when Mark and Malakhi were born in March, followed by Kaylen and Kaleb in December 2019. Wolliston told WPTV, “Oh, sure, I feel like I struck the twin lottery.” “How strange is that!” she exclaims in a YouTube video of her birth. “What do you know who had two sets of twins in the same year?” she asks. “Who is it that is doing this?”
Wolliston claimed she found out about the second pair of twins two months after the first set arrived. They were delivered on December 27th, when Wolliston was 34 weeks pregnant after she had high ʙʟᴏᴏᴅ pressure and protein in her ᴜʀɪɴᴇ. Wolliston is expecting to bring Kaylen home soon after Kaleb was released from the hospital on Monday. The mother of five claimed she only later found that her family had a history of twins.
Her grandmothers each lost twin sons at infancy, leading her to think that her four children are a divine gift. “I often say that two sets of twins and their twins went away, so I feel like my grandmothers handed me their grandchildren,” she explained. “It’s as though they’ve sent them down specifically for me.” The exhausted mother claims that her two-year-old daughter assisted her in preparing for the twins’ double dosage. “She was really worse than them,” Wolliston explained, “so she was like having two infants in one.”
All four children were created without the use of in vitro fᴇʀᴛɪʟɪᴢᴀᴛɪᴏɴ, according to Good Morning America. “I’m just so sʜᴏᴄᴋed and thrilled and thankful things turned out the way they did,” she said on GMA. “I was just wondering today, ‘Is this really happening?'” she continued.
